Add the below to Name"
hmail._domainkey
The type is TXT

Copy paste the below exactly as is in Value, if it's to many characters for the dns let me know. The " separate it so it's not to many characters "under 256" because most dns managers have that limit.

"v=DKIM1; k=rsa; ""p=MIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEAsSzLC0k7C8/8suVVBp6tZxq0Gag6GXJQvo7hUbWn9ii+zczaVP2O2xpq+DkdL5NVWj1E6wNpxzIWI2CR0Tf9tZE9VJUPgVrUh9q4En3bB2PsYdnIm7vKcAyEaE9aXWk5ag3fVZBUhVn9idxaOXYHB9tx8ANjI9aFyvMZDe9zlc70DW87zVlJV4ZICjk0nkMLqE37cVmVzFd7f1""ujNs7+IhkxKOU31ql/lQQb4XXG9wjvhVbbM/+UzWk9UG08IdIZTem8w/73tO/N5wxMJM77BQQH+4+yHA/3Ivtr0TV7XOrFmAf/qoiKQzksUBAQglN12XPlvB6VbqPlZRC7gE4vFwIDAQAB"

Not to be difficult, but

1. Am I to understand that the blank line(s) are or are not part of the TXT or are an artifact of the email format?
How about a text-file attachment?

2. Am I to understand that there are two double-quoted strings, separated by what?

So I gather you will generate the DKIM key and provide us the DNS TXT entry.

The error from the email is caused by missing dkim, I can give you said dkim that needs to be added in your dns  "at the domain level" that will fix the issue.

What is this is about?
Over the last few months, there has seen a steady increase in mail being tagged as spam or being outright rejected by large service providers such as Google, Yahoo and Hotmail (Outlook).
These providers have started to enforce that all domains must be setup with the proper authentication protocols such as DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) and SPF (Sender Policy Framework).
We can provide you with the proper spf to use in your dns and generate a dkim for you to also add if you request it.

Hello, Eric:
I provide IT support to Landel Telecom.
I am writing at the request of Steve Landry of Landel Telecom / mailbug.com.

The attached conversation concerns a blocked email to a gmail addressee.
It seems to be complaining about the spf associated with the sender

rather than anything in our mailbug.com bailiwick.

Can you shed some light on this, for us and our customer?

Thank you,

Hi BIll,
Another problem with MailBug emails sent to Gmail addresses.
The bounce message below says:
"550-5.7.26 This message does not pass authentication checks (SPF and DKIM both do not pass)."
I thought we fixed the SPF issue, and didn't use DKIM.
Can you please look into what's happening.  I'll try to call you later.

Thanks,

Steve
